Join our ski touring weekend in Jondal by Hardangerfjord on April 3-6, 2025.
Experience diverse skiing from mountain to fjord in breathtaking fjord landscapes. Hardanger has typical Western Norwegian winters with plenty of snow in the mountains and a long ski season, offering exciting peaks with stunning fjord views.
This weekend is perfect for those who love ski touring, delicious local food, and powerful nature experiences!
Cider tasting
Featuring a selection of Hardanger Ciders, proudly protected by geographical designation and crafted locally to perfection.
RIB safari to Fyksesund
Experience the thrill of an included RIB safari to Fyksesund, where dramatic fjord landscapes and untouched nature await.
Hardanger House
Stay at a modern design hotel by the Hardangerfjord with stunning fjord and mountain views, reserved exclusively for the event.

3 days of ski touring
With the first two days featuring longer tours (5–7 hours) and the final day offering a shorter tour (3–4 hours)
Local guides
The tours will be led by our experienced local guides which takes you to stunning peaks with fun skiing.

In double room: NOK 16,000
All prices are per person and includes:

Duration and starting hours
Longer tours 5-7 hours (day 1 and 2)
Short tour 3-4 hours (day 3)
We set of from the hotel around 9AM each day
Capacity
6-8 people per guide and maximum 16 people on the event.
Age limit
15 years old
Reguirements
- Skilled in alpine skiing
- Fit for a long hikes/tours in the mountains
- Use either randonnée skis, telemark skis, or splitboard
- Helmet when skiing down
- Always carry/wear avalanche equipment

Preliminary Program
Thursday
Welcome to Hardangerfjord, with its stunning fjords and mountains, and Hardanger House in Jondal!
After check-in available from 4 PM, you can relax and enjoy the view over Hardangerfjord or maybe take a refreshing spring dip at the local beach. All participants meet for a shared two-course dinner in the hotel restaurant, followed by an information meeting with the weekend’s guides.
Friday
First day of skiing!
- 7:30 AM - Breakfast at the hotel and preparing packed lunch
- 9:00 AM - Departure for the ski tour
- 5:00 PM - Optional RIB safari
- 7:00 PM - Cider tasting at the hotel
- 8:00 PM - 2-course dinner at the hotel
Saturday
Second day of skiing!
- 7:30 AM - Breakfast at the hotel and preparing packed lunch
