Hardangerfjord Adventure’s head base is located in Øystese, which is the starting point for most of our hiking and skiing trips. We offer RIB tours in the townships Ulvik, Norheimsund and Øystese.

Øystese and Norheimsund in Kvam
Large parts of the Norwegian Scenic Route Hardanger are located in Kvam, and along the route, you can experience many exciting activities – just over one hour from Bergen, Kvam is a popular destination in Hardanger.
Here you can find the popular Steinsdalsfossen waterfall, the roadless fjord branch Fyksesund, Hardanger Maritime centre, Hardanger Aqua centre, Hardangerbadet, Kabuso Art centre and several cider farms.
Ulvik (summer)
In the nook of the Hardanger fjord, amongst steep mountains and bountiful orchards, Ulvik awaits. Here, tradition and innovation walks hand in hand and the town offers a host of attractions and activities for all.
Experience Norway’s only fruit- and ciderroute and sample the sights and flavors of traditional Norwegian farms.
The lush mountains and gleaming fjord invite you to experience some of the best views Hardanger has to offer.

Rosendal (winter)
The village of Rosendal is located in the municipality of Kvinnherad, at the beginning of the Hardangerfjord region. The Rosendal Alps, a landscape characterized by high, steep mountains. Melderskin, Gygrastolen, and Ulvanosa are particularly striking peaks surrounding this area.
In Rosendal you should not miss the Baroniet Rosendal. The castle from 1665 is known for its well-tended landscape park and its rich cultural program.
