Booking terms and conditions Hardangerfjord Adventure:


These terms are for bookings made online and pay directly through our payment provider Stripe.


Booking and confirmation
A booking with Hardangerfjord Adventure AS must be made online and once the booking is confirmed by Hardangerfjord Adventure AS, it is binding.


Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing either online or through our mail
booking@hardangerfjord-adventure.no.

  • More than 72 hours before departure: Customers will receive a full refund.
  • 72 to 48 hours before departure: Customers will be charged 50% of the amount.
  • 48 hours to 0 hours before departure or “NO SHOW”: Customers will be charged the full amount, 100%.


Cancellation due to Illness
No refunds will be given for cancellations due to illness less than three days before departure. Claims must be handled through personal travel insurance.


Cancellation of Activity - Force Majeure
Hardangerfjord Adventure AS reserves the right to cancel activities due to unforeseen circumstances that affect operating conditions or in cases of Force Majeure. Force Majeure may include weather, flooding, snow, ice, avalanches, or other factors that make the activity unsafe for our customers, employees, and equipment. We will refund prepayments in full. Hardangerfjord Adventure AS does not cover travel and accommodation expenses in cases of delayed returns due to weather conditions or technical problems.


Liability
Hardangerfjord Adventure AS is responsible for ensuring that confirmed tours comply with Norwegian laws and regulations. We declare that participation in our tours is at your own risk.


Hardangerfjord Adventure AS is committed to:

  • Ensuring equipment and materials are in suitable condition for our activities.
  • Providing guides with adequate knowledge of the activity and potential hazards to ensure safe and efficient execution of the activity.
  • Ensuring at least one guide has the equipment and knowledge to administer first aid and manage any accidents in a responsible and safe manner, including the handling of personal communication equipment.
  • Having insurance that covers specific activities typically not included in standard insurance policies unless otherwise agreed upon.
