Norheimsund and Øystese are ideal starting points for exploring the wider Hardangerfjord region, with most towns reachable within 75 minutes. Ulvik, located in the eastern part of the fjord, is perfect for discovering the inner Hardangerfjord and its dramatic landscapes.

Our main base in  Norheimsund is the heart of Hardangerfjord Adventure and the starting point for most of our guided hiking,  Fjord floating, snowshoeing, and ski touring experiences.

We also operate RIB boat tours from Norheimsund,   Øystese, and Ulvik, each offering spectacular fjord views, waterfalls, and dramatic landscapes you won’t find anywhere else.

Upon arrival, our local guides will greet you with everything you need for a safe and unforgettable experience.
