June - August offer the best weather and calm fjord conditions. May offers the best contrast with snow-caped peaks, cascading waterfalls, green fields and fruit orchards in blossom.
The snow-melting period in May and early June offers guaranteed cascading waterfalls. On and after days with heavy rain the waterfalls are at their biggest!
July - September offers great hiking conditions.
2. Can I swim in the fjord?
Yes! Water temperatures reach 17–20 °C in mid-summer.
3. What should I wear?
