RIB safari and fjord sauna (private group)

2 hours and 30 minutes

Easy

Book a private spectacular RIB safari and sauna experience at beautiful Hardangerfjord.

Join us on a unique adventure in the heart of Hardangerfjord with our exclusive RIB tour to the stunning fjord branch of Fyksesund. This private excursion blends the thrill of a RIB ride with the relaxing and refreshing ambiance of nature’s own wellness oasis.

Departing from Øystese, we navigate the RIB through the narrow and unique fjord landscape of Fyksesund, the only fjord arm of Hardangerfjord that remains inaccessible by road to its innermost part. Over the last 5 km of this 10.5 km long fjord, you'll glide between sheer mountain sides to the secluded hamlet of Botnen, a geographically isolated community with a long and fascinating history of cultural contact with the outside world.

During this adrenaline-pumping RIB journey through a unique fjord landscape, our guide will make several stops, allowing you to absorb and marvel at the enchanting scenery. You’ll be treated to interesting facts about the fjord and stories about the people who lived here.

After exploring Fyksesund, the boat will drop you off at the Panorama Resort Hardangerfjord’s fjordsauna. Here, you can unwind in the warmth of the sauna while enjoying the view of the majestic fjord landscape around Øystese. No visit to the fjordsauna is complete without a refreshing dip in Hardangerfjord. Dare to plunge into the clean, invigorating waters—a revitalizing experience you’re guaranteed to remember.
